PLACEBO "ROB THE BANK" MUSIC VIDEO
"Rob The Bank" is a music video I wrote and co-directed with Dave Ramirez for Placebo's "Loud Like Love" Delux DVD Album Edition (Sep 2013). Commissioned by Universal UK. The inspiration for the video came from the strong images coming from Turkey during the #OccupyGezy protests back in June 2013. We heard from a friend that the devastating events were not getting any global attention, and we felt inspired to place these graphic real world images in a beautiful grayscale slow-motion world. The video's teaser hit 400,000 Youtube views on its first day, going viral in Turkey.

A 90-sec preview posted on Placebo's official Youtube channel went viral in Turkey and got up to 500,000k view in only the first two days.
